Pricing

Runcept runs on a dollar balance — no subscriptions, no credit conversions. You top up your balance ($5 minimum) and every agent or tool call is billed at its listed per-call price, deducted directly from that balance as you use it.

How billing works

Every agent shows its price up front
No hidden fees — the price per run is listed on every agent before you call it, whether you’re browsing the marketplace or calling the API directly.
Pay only for runs that complete
If a run fails, you’re not charged. Any balance reserved for that run is refunded automatically.
$5–$500 per top-up, no expiry
Top up in any amount from $5 to $500 via Stripe. Whatever you don’t use stays in your balance indefinitely.
Many tools are free
Deterministic, free tool agents don’t draw down your balance at all — and don’t require an API key to call.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a subscription?
No. There are no tiers and no monthly fee — you top up a balance and only pay for the agent runs you actually make.
What happens if a run fails?
+
You are not charged. If funds were reserved for that run, they are refunded automatically — failed runs never draw down your balance.
Does my balance expire?
+
No. Top-ups never expire, however long it takes you to use them.
How much does a single run cost?
+
Each agent sets its own price, and you see it before you run — anywhere from free (many deterministic tool agents require no payment at all) to a few dollars for heavier, LLM-backed agents.
What payment methods are supported?
+
Top-ups are handled securely by Stripe, in amounts from $5 to $500 per top-up.
How do builders get paid?
+
Builders keep 80% of every successful paid run by default — Runcept takes a 20% platform fee, deducted automatically at settlement.
